Inboard Profile

Inboard profile is a side view of a ship or boat that shows the shape of the hull from bow to stern. It is a two-dimensional drawing that displays the vessel's lines, including the sheer line, deck line, and bottom line. The inboard profile is an essential tool for naval architects and shipbuilders as it provides critical information about the vessel's dimensions, displacement, and stability. It also helps to determine the placement of the machinery, equipment, and accommodations within the hull. In addition, the inboard profile is used to assess the vessel's performance characteristics, such as speed, maneuverability, and seakeeping ability.
