Warehouse

A warehouse is a large building used for storing goods. In maritime context, warehouses are often located near ports and used for temporary storage of cargo before it is loaded onto ships or after it is unloaded from ships. Warehouses near ports may also be used for storing equipment and supplies used in maritime operations. The design and construction of warehouses must take into account the weight and size of the cargo being stored, as well as the need for security and protection from the elements.
