SSBA
Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SSBA) is a device used by divers to breathe underwater. It is a portable breathing system that provides a continuous supply of air to the diver. The SSBA consists of a cylinder of compressed air, a regulator, a mouthpiece or mask, and a harness to hold the cylinder on the diver's back. The regulator reduces the high-pressure air in the cylinder to a pressure that the diver can breathe. The SSBA is used in situations where the diver needs to work underwater for an extended period, or where the water is contaminated with hazardous substances. It is also used in emergency situations where the diver needs to escape from a submerged vessel or structure.
