Refrigeration Cycle
Refrigeration cycle is a thermodynamic cycle used in refrigeration systems to transfer heat from a low-temperature region to a high-temperature region. The cycle consists of four main components: a compressor, a condenser, an expansion valve, and an evaporator. The refrigerant is compressed by the compressor and then condensed in the condenser, releasing heat to the surroundings. The high-pressure liquid refrigerant then passes through the expansion valve, where it undergoes a pressure drop and becomes a low-pressure liquid-vapor mixture. This mixture then enters the evaporator, where it absorbs heat from the low-temperature region and evaporates into a low-pressure vapor. The vapor is then returned to the compressor to complete the cycle.
