Offshore Platform

An offshore platform is a large structure used to extract oil and gas from beneath the seabed. It is typically installed in shallow or deep waters and consists of a steel or concrete deck supported by a series of steel or concrete legs that are anchored to the seabed. Offshore platforms can be fixed or floating, and they are equipped with drilling equipment, production facilities, and living quarters for the crew. They are designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, such as high winds and waves, and are subject to strict safety regulations to prevent accidents and protect the environment.
