Graveyard Watch

Graveyard Watch is a nautical term that refers to the period of watch duty on a ship that is kept from midnight until 4 a.m. It is also known as the Middle Watch. During this time, the ship's crew is divided into two watches, with one watch on duty while the other is off duty. The Graveyard Watch is considered to be the most difficult watch to keep, as it requires the crew to stay alert and vigilant during the darkest and quietest hours of the night. The watch is responsible for monitoring the ship's course, checking for any signs of danger, and reporting any problems to the officer on duty.
