Buoyancy Restoration Tank

A Buoyancy Restoration Tank is a compartment or a tank located in the lower part of a ship that is used to restore the buoyancy of the vessel in case of flooding or damage. It is designed to be flooded with seawater to compensate for the weight of the water that has entered the ship, thus reducing the risk of capsizing or sinking. The tank is equipped with valves that can be opened or closed to control the amount of water that enters or exits the tank. The Buoyancy Restoration Tank is an essential safety feature in modern ships, especially in those that operate in rough seas or hazardous environments.
