The United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) is the UK's agency for providing hydrographic and marine geospatial data to mariners and maritime organisations across the world. It is responsible for producing and maintaining a worldwide series of nautical charts, publications and electronic navigational charts (ENCs) that provide essential information to ensure the safety of ships at sea. The UKHO also provides a range of other services, including tidal predictions, maritime security information, and marine data management. Its products and services are used by a wide range of customers, including commercial shipping companies, navies, coastguards, and leisure sailors.
