Roll-on/roll-off (RoRo)

Roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) is a method of loading and unloading ships whereby cargo is driven on and off the vessel using a ramp. RoRo vessels are designed to carry wheeled cargo such as cars, trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. The cargo is secured on the vessel using lashings and chocks to prevent it from shifting during transport. RoRo vessels are popular for their efficiency and speed of loading and unloading, as well as their ability to transport large volumes of cargo. They are commonly used for both domestic and international shipping.
