Port Facilities

Port facilities refer to the infrastructure and services provided at a port to facilitate the movement of cargo and passengers. These facilities include docks, piers, wharves, quays, and berths for vessels to load and unload cargo and passengers. They also include storage areas for cargo, such as warehouses and container yards, as well as equipment for handling cargo, such as cranes and forklifts. Other facilities may include fueling stations, repair and maintenance facilities, and customs and immigration offices. The efficiency and capacity of port facilities are critical to the smooth operation of global trade and transportation.
