Polar Lights

Polar Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis in the Northern Hemisphere and Aurora Australis in the Southern Hemisphere, are natural light displays in the sky that occur in high-latitude regions. They are caused by the interaction of charged particles from the sun with the Earth's magnetic field and atmosphere. The colors of the polar lights depend on the type of gas particles that are colliding with the charged particles. The most common colors are green, pink, and red. Polar lights are a popular tourist attraction in countries such as Norway, Iceland, and Canada.
