FDIS
FDIS stands for Final Draft International Standard. It is the last stage in the development process of an international standard before it is published. During this stage, the standard is circulated to all ISO member countries for a final review and vote. If the FDIS is approved by two-thirds of the member countries, it is then published as an international standard. FDIS is an important step in the standardization process as it ensures that all member countries have had the opportunity to review and provide feedback on the standard before it is finalized.
