Echolocation

Echolocation is a biological sonar system used by some marine mammals, such as dolphins and whales, to navigate and locate prey in their environment. These animals emit high-frequency sounds, which bounce off objects in the water and return to the animal as echoes. By interpreting the echoes, the animal can determine the location, size, and shape of objects in its environment. Echolocation is an essential tool for these animals to survive in their underwater habitats, allowing them to navigate through dark or murky waters and locate prey that may be hidden from sight.
