Custom Broker

A custom broker is a professional who acts as an intermediary between importers and exporters and the government agencies responsible for regulating international trade, such as customs. They assist in the clearance of goods through customs by ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order and that all applicable taxes and duties are paid. Custom brokers also provide advice on trade regulations, tariff classifications, and other customs-related matters. They may work independently or as part of a larger customs brokerage firm.
