Condenser

A condenser is a device used in ships to convert steam back into water by cooling it down. It is a heat exchanger that transfers heat from the steam to the surrounding water, causing the steam to condense. The resulting water is then collected and reused in the ship's boilers. Condensers are an important component of a ship's power plant, as they increase the efficiency of the steam cycle and reduce the amount of fresh water needed for the boilers. They are commonly used in steam-powered ships, including steam turbine and diesel-electric vessels.
