Stackcar

Stackcar is a type of railcar used for intermodal transportation of shipping containers. It is designed to carry two layers of containers, one on the bottom and one on top, which are secured with twist locks. The top layer can be accessed with a ladder or platform. Stackcars are commonly used in rail transport to move containers between ports and inland destinations, as well as for long-distance transportation. They are an efficient way to transport large quantities of cargo, as they can carry up to four 20-foot containers or two 40-foot containers at once.
