Bridge, Navigating Or Flying

The bridge of a ship is the location from which the ship can be commanded. It is the platform or room at the top of the ship from which the captain, or master of the vessel, can see the entire ship and its surroundings. The bridge is equipped with navigational equipment such as radar, GPS, and compasses to aid in the safe navigation of the ship. The bridge is also responsible for communicating with other ships and shore stations to ensure safe passage. In aviation, the term 'cockpit' is used instead of 'bridge' and serves a similar purpose.
